The tambourine orchestra
The tambourine orchestra accompanies the dancers and also gives its own shows. Owing to nice strains reminding us of the time of our grandfathers and grandmothers the folklore group has decided to revive the use of this instrument. The programme includes adaptations of folk songs, musical pieces for tambourine bands, and adaptations of popular evergreens, which appeal to young as well as to the elderly. Mr. Lenart Šter is the orchestra’s professional counsellor and leader.
